We sadly announce the loss of our dear friend and neighbor Valerie Lukosky. Valerie joins her late husband Gibby who passed away just 15 month ago. Valerie, Gibby, and their two children, Greg and Christina moved to Newport Shores in 1972 and owned homes on Colton, Lugonia and Prospect Streets.
Val’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren as well as her activities in Newport Shores that included going to the Beach, Tennis Tournaments, Ping Pong, swim meets, and constant social gatherings in the neighborhood.
Val was a passionate supporter of the community and always assisted Gibby in their mutual involvement in the Newport Shores Community Association, The Exchange Club, The Commodores, and the American Legion.
