This year, will be a bit different… we are bringing the parade to the people and we will also have fun prizes for houses with the best RED, WHITE & BLUE decorations!!
House Decorating Contest
We will be awarding prizes for the 3 BEST House Decorations in NSCA. Show your spirit and your house could win! Must be home to win… prizes will awarded during the parade (10:00AM – 11:00AM)
Parade to the Shores
Up to 10 family cars will parade through Newport Shores from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. We will share the map route shorty and we will spreading spirit, candy prizes during the parade!! Plan to be out front our house to join fun!!
So we can celebrate in a socially-responsible way and show our American spirit, we need volunteers and a whole lotta Shores pride to make it happen!
- We need 10 family parade cars.
- Decorate your ride, honk your horn and “shower” the Shores with candy, water balloons, squirt guns, t-shirts and more! All this fun stuff will be provided to you by NSCA.
- Family parade cars line up at 9:45am
- Depart at 10:00am
- Parade ends at 11:00am
- We will hit every house on every block with our Spirit Shower and Award Prizes!
- Unfortunately, we cannot have anyone following, walking, biking, skating behind the parade cars. We ask that you stand out front or back of your house and cheer on our patriotic parade cars
- We will need 2+ volunteers per street to help clean up after the parade goes by (11:00-11:30)… sweep any left candy, prizes or water balloon pieces, etc
