Crime Alert!
We wanted to make sure you all knew about this… a car burglary group has been working our neighborhood recently. Early last Friday morning several cars were broken into and two vehicles were stolen. We know of one that was recovered thanks to Newport PD and the proactive resident. The vehicle was tracked via GPS and the persons who stole the vehicle were still inside the vehicle when found. They were arrested.
Newport PD has put out the attached information regarding vehicle thefts. Remember, anything left in the vehicle could be a reason for thieves to break in. Please see below:
