The City requests that you pay attention the posted signs for the day your street will be done. Because of the slurry seal operation, the City has suspended Street Sweeping until June 2nd. The slurry seal needs a couple weeks to cure before sweeping operations begin again. In the meantime, the Contractor will be responsible for cleaning things up as there will be expected buildup of slurry material in the gutter. Should you have any questions or special needs please don’t hesitate to call the City’s Project Manager Ben Davis at (949) 644-3317 or email him at [email protected].
The City also wanted to remind everyone of the code requirements for garage use. With Covid, many homes throughout the community have turned their garages into work out space, classrooms, or living areas. The garage requirement is clear: Space available for parking. If you have a two-car garage there should be room for two cars. If you have a single car garage and a carport, those should be both available or parking. Attached are experts from the City Municipal Code where it requires the parking noted above. If you have any questions you can call Code Enforcement at (949) 644-3215 and they would be happy to explain the requirement.
Your HOA Board, in an effort to help with the parking complaints that we constantly receive, will be ordering the annual dumpster help with garage cleanout. Summer is approaching and the association would appreciate if everyone would have one car in their garage to help to ease parking woes in our wonderful neighborhood. Information on the dumpster and garage cleanout weekend will be coming soon.
