Margaret Guerrero – She took extra care of me when I broke both my ankles. She would make sure I had everything I needed and take me for walks in the wheelchair around the neighborhood to get me outside and get some fresh air. Leslie and Steve Allen – John and Leslee were so welcoming to us when we first moved into our home on 62nd street in 2004 and they have been welcoming, kind and warm everyday since. They genuinely love kids and show interest their lives and the entire family. They love the shores and can be found chatting with neighbors, swimming or taking a run on any given day. They are the kind of people you would hope to have as neighbors and we count ourselves lucky to have them as ours. – From Mike Hardesty

Bill Seitz – HE MAKES SURE EVEYONE’S CAR IS MOVED ON STREET SWEEPING DAYS TO SPARE THEM PARKING TICKETS. HE HELPS ELDERLY NEIGHBORS WITH ALL KINDS OF LIFTING, MOVING AND CONSTRUCTION AND LANDSCAPE CHORES. HE VOLUNTERS AND GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP HIS COMMUNITY – From Robin

Molly and Dave – They’re always sharing helpful tips, offer to clean our windows and so genuinely kind and considerate. Our entire house falls asleep easier at night knowing we have such incredible neighbors right next door! From Nicole

Mike Sinacori and Family – Mike seems to love the shores almost more than any of us. His dedication and mediation skills are so appreciated. His wife has safety eyes on us everyday and goes out of her way to help. Their two sweet daughters are working at the pool to train our children and always a delight to see around the neighborhood. Val Riley – She is always looking out for my house, turning off my sprinkler when I forget, letting me know when I’ve forgotten to move my car for street sweeping, feeding my cats when I’m away, baking me goodies, bringing the trash cans in and out, sharing her newspaper with me… I could go on!
