Gina Lesley has kindly set up a meeting on Monday night at 7:00 at the clubhouse to address further concerns about the affordable housing project (see below for details). She has invited representatives from the developer, Mercy House, councilman Tony Petros and the 3 council members who are on the affordable housing committee.
Please attend if you are interested in learning more and please plan to attend the meeting at the city on Tuesday, November 24th as well.

100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach
Newport Beach City Council will hold a public hearing on November 24th at 7:00PM to take action on a proposed Special Needs/Low Income Housing Project at city council chambers, 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach.
The proposed project is located at 6001 Newport Shores Drive (behind Cappy’s, adjacent to the 61st park) which is currently a privately owned 12 unit apartment complex. The city recently put out an RFP for funding for required affordable housing projects. Of the proposals received the 6001 Newport Shores Drive project submitted by Community Development Partners was one selected for the affordable housing task force to review. This task force is presenting the project to our city council Tuesday.
